Exhibitor Quotes & Comments
The NY Guitar Show & Exposition was a huge success for us...but more importantly for our our exhibitors! Hear what just some of them had to say for themselves!

"The NY Guitar Show was a resounding success for Pigtronix. Our local dealers sold through their entire inventory of Pigtronix effects and then some. We can't wait to do it again. Great work Rich!" David Koltai, President of Pigtronix

"Wow, I was impressed by the turnout for a first show but then again, I would expect nothing less from Long Island. I hope more guitar dealers will participate next year! Any dealer feel free to call me for a recommendation! "
John DeSilva, My Generation Guitars

"We had a great response to our booth. We sold 10 guitars, a whole lot of pedals and even had customers go directly to our store right after the show. We sold a 1968 Gibson Black Beauty right out of our Vintage Lounge because of the NY Guitar Show!"
Guy Brogna- ALL MUSIC, Long Island

"I had a great time, met great folks, sold guitars BUT I bought a ton of cool guitars!"
Howie Statland, Rivington Guitars

We had a great time at the show, great folks on Long Island!!! Already psyched to do it again!!! Thanks Rich for all your hard work!! Doug Meyers, Mountain Cat Guitars

Breaking News: Big Coverage In Long Island's Newsday Paper!

Hi Folks,
The the biggest guitar show and expo to hit the New York metropolitan area in over 15 years yesterday as 1,200 guitar and music fans came though the door at the
Cure of Ars Church, 2323 Merrick Ave. in Merrick, NY. The excitement is large and the buzz has already started among dealers and more importantly the public! We’ve only eight (8) booths left to sell to have a complete sell out in our first year.

The advertising campaign began with an ad in Vintage Guitar’s March & April issues, hen we  partnered with WFUV public radio from Fordham University; we’ve had a write up Gbase’s March Gearhead Gazette with a full article/interview set for the April Gearhead Gazette too. The poster campaign in all the music stores of the Long Island, NYC, NJ & CT areas and ads in the local newspapers too. The TV campaign blitz started this past week on all seven (7) News12 outlets covering Long Island, NY, Brooklyn, Bronx, Hudson Valley, NJ & CT...radio ads were blitzing this week as well with WBAB, B103, 94X also the "Peak" FM in  in Westchester, WFUV, WGBB and so on!

Our food vendor is a wonderful family owned business that can cook up anything from Crab cakes and homemade soup to hot dogs, burgers and homemade soups and fries. The beer vendor is set and a few other surprises too.

A main attraction is the Les Paul Foundation. The LPF will be displaying Saturday (4/28) only a Les Paul display with some of Les’ own personal artifacts and guitars. As you know the Les Paul Foundation honors & remembers the life, spirit, and legacy of Les Paul by supporting music education, engineering and innovation as well as medical research and will establish scholarships at one or more music or music related schools. I want to thank Executive Director Michael K. Braunstein for setting up this display and making it happen for us.

We are also presently selecting sponsors for the event with programs designed to give each sponsor unique opportunities to make direct outreach to a substantial portion of guitar and music industry consumers, en masse or one on one. Copies of our available sponsorship package(s) are available on our site. We look forward to hearing from you shortly thereafter to discuss your company’s participation as a sponsor of the New York Guitar Show & Exposition.

Again, WELCOME to what promises to be a uniquely profitable experience for all!

Sincerely,
Rich Johnson
Show Director
